Jopson Athletic Complex

The turf field is part of the Jopson Athletic Complex and is home to the Eagles football, field hockey, men’s lacrosse and women’s lacrosse teams. The Jopson Athletic Complex received a major upgrade during the summer of 2013 as FieldTurf was installed to replace the existing natural grass surface. The facility has a seating capacity of 3,500.

On October 9, 1971, the facility was named in honor of long time Bridgewater coach and professor Dr. Harry G.M. "Doc" Jopson.

The Bridgewater track team also competes at Jopson Field. The track is equipped with an eight-lane 400 meter all-weather track and includes long jump, high jump, pole vault, and triple jump surfaces. A new throwing cage was erected in 2016 and is used for the shot put, discus and hammer competitions.

The Jopson Athletic Complex has hosted several NCAA tournament football games, as well as the 2015 ODAC Outdoor Track & Field championships.
