BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater College's Andrew Hacker was named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week released Tuesday.

Hacker had a huge weekend as he helped lead the Eagles to doubleheader sweeps over Messiah and Juniata.

In the twinbill against Messiah, Hacker was 3-for-4 at the plate in the first game with two RBIs. In the second game, he was 1-for-2 with a double and three RBIs.

In the opener against Juniata, Hacker was 4-for-4 with two runs scored, a double and one run batted in. He finished off his weekend with a 3-for-5 effort at the plate in the nightcap against Juniata.

After five games this season, Hacker is hitting .600 with a .700 slugging percentage.
