Eagles Split Twinbill With Lehman

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Bridgewater College split its doublheader Monday with Lehman, losing the opener 3-2 before taking the second game 10-1.

The loss in the first game snapped Bridgewater's six-game losing streak. Jacob Talley was 2-for-3 and drove in one run and Michael Morgan was 1-for-3 with one run batted in.

Five Eagles had two hits each as Bridgewater bounced back with a convincing win. Austin Batten was 2-for-4 with two RBIs while Talley and Cameron Stanley were both 2-for-4 with one run batted in. Jacke Bailey was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and Morgan was 2-for-3 with a run batted in.

Jacob Benfield picked up the win on the mound, his first of the spring.

The Eagles are now 8-2 on the season.
