Hewitt Rides To Win At The Barracks

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Bridgewater College rider Caitlin Hewitt turned in a strong performance at an open show Sunday hosted at The Barracks, home of the University of Virginia riding team.

Caitlin Hewitt rode her horse, Rio's Dancer, to a win in the Equitation over Fences Class and then ended up Reserve Champion of the Children/Adult Hunter Division.

"Danny" as he is called in the barn, is a young horse that Caitlin purchased a year and a half ago when he was just beginning to be ridden under saddle. Coach Sarah Irvine accompanied Caitlin and Rio's Dancer on the trip.
