WEYERS CAVE, Va. - The Bridgewater College equestrian program celebrated its 10th year Saturday afternoon with an Alumni-Students horse show at the Bridgewater College Equestrian Center.

Therer was a tie for high-point rider and after additional testing former Bridgewater national champion rider Cary Chenoweth edged former ODAC Rider of the Year, Patti Ann Thornton for the honor.

Members of the winning team Saturday were Chelsea Hames, Lindsey Barrett, Lindsay Goode, Victoria Hatfield, Jamie Robinson, Skylar Backe, Emily Leith and Lauren Griffin.

Members of the reserve championship team were Patti Ann Thornton, Lindsay Ferguson, Sara Ann Speed, Kelly Sprinkle, Katie Grove, Chloe Sikhrangkur and Dani Riddle.

Following the show everyone enjoyed a picnic under the trees on the lawn at the brick house, a silent auction and music by the Hackens Boys band.
