Jeter and Sheaffer Earn All-America Honors

VOORHEES, N.J. - Senior defensive end Dominic Jeter was joined by senior offensive lineman George Sheaffer as announced its All-America teams.

Jeter was named to the second team defensive squad while Sheaffer picked up an honorable mention selection after a strong season at left tackle. 

For Jeter, the selection adds to a growing list of accomplishments. Most recently, Jeter earned a first team Roanoke Times All-State selection. Jeter also competed in the D-III Senior Classic at the beginning of December at Salem Stadium in Salem, Va. 

Jeter turned in an outstanding senior season for the Eagles on the defensive line en route to first team All-ODAC honors and second team VaSID All-State honors. With his second team nod, Jeter was been named to the all-conference and all-state teams in back-to-back seasons. Jeter was tied for third in the conference with a team-high five sacks and was eighth in the conference with 11 tackles for a loss.

After the conclusion of the 2011 season, Sheaffer was named to the All-ODAC squad as a second team choice. The selection marked the second season in a row that he picked up all-conference honors, after a first-team nod last season. Sheaffer notched an 85% lineman grade, surrendered no sacks on the year and also led the Eagles in knock downs.

Jeter and Sheaffer were each named to the Preseason All-America lists in August. is the nation's first and only Division III Pro Day and combine for seniors after the regular season. All-Americans represent the boards best seniors in Division III

Jeter, Sheaffer and the rest of the Eagles finished the 2011 season with a 6-4 overall record.
