Field Hockey to Take On Randolph-Macon in Opening Round of ODAC Tournament
SALEM, Va. - Following a victory at Roanoke on
Saturday night that clinched a berth into the Old Dominion Athletic
Conference (ODAC) tournament, the fifth-seeded Bridgewater Eagles
field hockey team will take on Randolph-Macon in the opening round
of the ODAC tournament.
Bridgewater is slated to travel to Randolph-Macon on Saturday to
take on the Yellow Jackets in a matchup of the #4 and #5 teams in
the conference.
In the other opening round pairing, Roanoke travels to Washington
and Lee in a battle of the #3 and #6 teams.
The top two teams in the conference, #1 Lynchburg and #2 Eastern
Mennonite both drew opening round byes.
If the Eagles are victorious on Saturday, they will travel to
Lynchburg on Tuesday, November 3 to do battle with the top-seeded
Hornets at the time that has yet to be announced.
