NELLYSFORD, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's golf team finished in sixth place after the final day of competition at the 2017 ODAC championships.
Ocean Armstrong placed fourth and made the All-Tournament team, while fellow junior Luke Hill also earned a flag after tying for 11th place overall.
The Eagles shot 323 on another wet, rainy day, finishing with a three-day score of 959, five strokes back of fifth-place Virginia Wesleyan.
Armstrong was on fire early on, birdieing consecutive par 4s at #10 and #11 to move to 2-under on the day through 11 holes. He was 4-over on the final five holes but remained in fourth place at +8 for the tournament.
Hill made a tough birdie putt on the par-3 fifth hole en route to a 39 at the turn and a 79 overall on Tuesday.
Jeremy Pannebaker shot an 82 and finished in a tie for 32nd place for the tournament. Ronald Uszenski birdied the final hole in an 89 round that left him in 41st place.
Playing in his final collegiate round, senior Mark Corella shot an 88, leaving him in 48th place overall.
Guilford won the team competition with the top two overall individuals, as Josh Hill beat teammate Kell Graham on the first playoff hole to take medalist honors.
