MORGANTON, N.C. - The Bridgewater College men's golf team had the best score of the day in an abbreviated ending to the Montreat Cavalier Spring Invitational.

The final round was called after nine holes due to cold, wet and rainy conditions on the course. BC was just +16 as a team for the round at that point.

The Eagles had stormed into second place at the time of cancellation, one stroke ahead of Bob Jones and four strokes back of winners Georgetown College.

Ronald Uszenski had Bridgewater's best nine-hole performance on Tuesday, moving into a tie for third place and earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Luke Hill had recorded the Eagles' best score in the opening round, with a 75.

Bridgewater will be back in action on March 16-18 at the Jekyll Island Collegiate in Georgia.
