2010 Camp Information Coming In the Spring of 2010.
See below for decription of last year's available camps. Similar camps will be planned for 2010.

Session I:  June 22-26, 2009 (Mon. - Fri.)
Session 2:  June 29-July 2, 2009 (Mon. - Thurs.)


General Information
  • Boys' & Girls' ages 8 - 16 are invited to attend
  • Beginners to advance players are welcome
  • Emphasis will be on the improvement of fundamental skills on a daily basis
  • Campers are placed in groups according to age, size, and ability.
  • Instruction is directed by the BC basketball coaching staff, players, and local High School Coaches.
  • Full-Day sessions are from 9:00 am-4:00 pm, and 9:00 am-Noon on final day.
  • Half-Day campers conclude at noon
  • Full-Day campers will be served lunch
  • Campers may arrive as early as 8:00 am and stay as late at 4:30 pm.
  • Full-Day Registration will be held on the first morning beginning at 8:00 am in Nininger Hall

    Facilities
    Camp sessions will be held in Nininger Hall on the campus of Bridgewater College..

    Camp Staff
  • Don Burgess, Head Men's Basketball Coach, Bridgewater College
    Coach Burgess is a native of Harrisonburg and attended Harrisonburg High School and had a standout career at Radford University.  He just completed his first season as the Head Coach at BC and led the program to a 16-11 record for a #4 seed in the ODAC.  He has been involved in college athletics for over 18 years.  Having worked camps nationwide he brings camp experience, incredible knowledge and enthusiasm to his basketball camps.

      Session I:        Full Day ($195.00) or Half-Day ($95.00)
      Session 2: Full Day ($165.00) or Half-Day ($75.00)
