BRIDGEWATER, Va. -
The Bridgewater College men's lacrosse program will host its 2017 Prospect Camp on Saturday, Sept. 9.

The camp is for interested athletes grades 9–12 and is limited to the first 50 applicants. The fee of $100 includes a T-shirt and lunch.

The Bridgewater Prospect Camp is designed for the serious lacrosse athlete whose ultimate goal is to play lacrosse at a high level in college. The men's lacrosse coaching staff wants to give players the opportunity to experience a collegiate training session, tour the College and meet the coaches, staff and players within the program.

Attending the prospect camp gives players a unique possibility to learn the coaching styles of BC's staff from one-on-one interaction. Since the camp is limited to the first 50 applicants, players have numerous opportunities to receive coaching and feedback.

The camp takes place at the Jopson Turf Field, the centerpiece of the Jopson Athletic Complex. Jopson Field has a seating capacity of 3,500. On October 9, 1971, the field was named in honor of longtime Bridgewater coach and professor Dr. Harry G.M. "Doc" Jopson.
