Men's Swim Finishes Eighth at First ODAC Meet

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Bridgewater College men's swimming team concluded its first varsity season in eighth place in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

The Eagles finished with 123 points to finish eighth of 10 at their first conference meet.

Tito Alcazar placed 11th in the 200 breast finals, swimming 2:26.99.

The Eagles wrapped up the meet with Troy Jackson, Alcazar, Jarratt Davis and Matt Young placed seventh in the 400 free relay in 3:42.80.

In morning prelims, Junior Hernandez was 18th in the 200 breast with a time of 3:03.02.

Chris Hollie finished 14th in the 1650 free, with a time of 21:10.44.

Competing in the 200 back were Ben Williams (18th, 2:46.45) and Jackson (19th, 2:40.90).

Three Eagles swam in the 100 free- Young (21st, 53.48), Davis (22nd, 53.99) and Ralph Carter (31st, 1:02.51).
