FOREST, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's tennis team was picked fourth in the ODAC Coaches' Preseason Poll released Thursday.

Defending champion Washington and Lee was an overwhelming pick to repeat in 2018. Following the Generals in the poll were Guilford, Hampden-Sydney and Bridgewater.

Josh Rodgers and Nathaniel Horner return to singles play after earning All-ODAC second-team honors a year ago. Rodgers got the nod at No 4 singles and Horner was the choice at No. 5 singles. Both are expected to play higher on the singles ladder this season.

Rodgers and Joe Dillenbeck return at No. 1 doubles where the duo earned second-team all-conference recognition.

Also returning is the doubles pair of Horner and Freddie Roberts. The duo earned second-team All-ODAC honors a year ago at No. 3 doubles.

Bridgewater opens its season on Feb. 24 when the Eagles play Goucher College at Salisbury University.
