BRIDGEWATER - The Bridgewater men's tennis team celebrated Senior Day with a 9-0 ODAC victory Thursday afternoon over Shenandoah University on Mapp Courts.
In doubles play, Dillenbeck and Josh Rodgers played at No. 1 and defeated Shenandoah's Matt Hwang and Darian Diaz, 8-3. Carpenter teamed up wth Freddie Roberts to turn back Evan Rosenberg and Kyle Apgar, 8-4, at No 3 doubles. Bridgewater's senior duo of Johnson and Stokes outlasted Zach Frack and Bryan Harris at No. 2 doubles by an 8-6 margin to complete the doubles sweep.
Bridgewater won all six singles matches in straight sets with three of the seniors earning points. Dillenbeck turned back Hwang 6-2, 6-4 at the No. 1 slot, Johnson downed Diaz 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and Stokes held off Rosenberg 6-3, 7-5 to win at No. 6.
Rodgers won at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-1 over Brett Dubin. Roberts took a 6-1, 6-2 win over Frack at No. 4 while Nathaniel Horner coasted to a 6-2, 6-2 win over Harris to take the win at No. 5 singles.
