LEXINGTON, Va. – The Bridgewater Eagles men's track and field team was in limited action on Saturday as a pair of sprinters competed in the program's final tune up before the upcoming Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) championships.
Senior Tyler Beiler and sophomore Jacob Wright competed for the Eagles in the 55 meter dash and the tandem went 3-4 in the event. Beiler paced the pair with a time of 6.62 seconds while Wright was tight behind in fourth with a time of 6.63 seconds.
Beiler's 6.62 second time is the top time for a Bridgewater runner in the event this season and was the top non-Division I finisher in the event.
Bridgewater is back in action on Friday afternoon when it travels to Lynchburg for the ODAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at Lynchburg College. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
