Men's Track Concludes Weekend at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's track & field team wrapped up its weekend at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational on Saturday.

Alex Galloway ran PRs in both the 100 and 200 meters, placing seventh in the 100m (10.98) and sixth in the 200m with BC's sixth-fastest all-time result (22.02).

Freshman Donovan Hollins was 22nd in the 100 (11.23) and 26th in the 200 (22.02).

Logan Good was 10th overall in the 3K steeplechase (10:45.04). In the hurdles events, Kevin Hasenecz was 11th in the 400 hurdles (58.75) and Christopher Moore was 16th in the 110HH (16.68).

BC placed third in the 4x100m relay, with Hollins, Brady Barefoot, Richard Wojno and Galloway clocking a time of 42.83. Ryan Mays, Daniel Breedlove, Moore and Galloway were fifth in the 4x400m relay (3:24.73).

Myles Conley (54.00) and Joshua Smith (54.15) ran in the same heat of the 400 meters and placed consecutively in 24th and 25th, respectively.

Bridgewater's field events were led by Prescott Terrell's fourth place finish in the hammer (48.21m/158'2"). Jordon Weatherwax was 12th in the pole vault, clearing 3.95m/12'11.5".

Six Eagles competed in the javelin, with Corey Huffman in eighth (49.18m/161'4"), Mark Robertson in ninth (44.59m/146'3"), Wojno placing 11th (43.81m/143'9"), Barefoot in 13th(41.66m/136'8"), Wyclef Etienne in 14th (39.90m/130'11") and Tyler Russell in 17th(35.10m/115'2").
