Men Compete in Day One of Camel City Invite

The Bridgewater College men's indoor track and field team traveled to Winston-Salem, N.C. on Friday to compete in the Camel City Invitational.

Prescott Terrell began day one of the invitational with a weight throw of 13.47m (44'2.5") to finish 20th.

Jordon Weatherwax cleared a season best 3.95m (12'11.50") on the pole vault to finish seventh. That mark currently sits third in the ODAC. 

Davonta Womack finished fifth in the long jump and improved from his previous mark of 6.80 with a mark of 6.81m, still good for second in the conference.

Alex Galloway ran a time of 50.89 for 16th in the 400 meter run, and fourth-best in the ODAC.

Jamie Hiegel closed out the night with a personal best in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:36.66. That time stands second in the ODAC and second on Bridgewater's all-time list.

Day two of events begin tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
