BC Men Win Roanoke Cross Country Invitational
SALEM, Va. - Jordan White won his third consecutive individual meet title Saturday to lead Bridgewater to the team title at Roanoke College's Maroon Invitational.
White toured the 8K course in 27:29:39 to pull away for a 51 second victory over the second-place finisher.
The Eagles placed their five counters in the top 11 to finish with 32 points to defeat second-place Roanoke with 44 points.
Following White across the line for the Eagles was Jake Griffin who placed third overall with a time of 28:26. 45. Brian Barnett placed ninth with a time of 29:20.91 with teammates Adam Eakins and Paul Johnson close behind. Eakins placed 11th with a time of 29:49.33 and Johnson placed 12th with a time of 29:49.85.
