Softball Earns NFCA All-Academic Team Honors
STARKVILLE, Miss. -
With a combined 3.163 GPA, the Bridgewater Eagles softball team earned NFCA All-Academic honors with the 56th best team GPA in the nation at the Division III level.
Bridgewater was one of only two ODAC teams to make the list, following Lynchburg who finished with the fourth-highest team GPA in D3.
BC finished 18th in the final NFCA poll a season ago following a 36-11 campaign. Of the 17th teams ranked above BC a season ago, only five ranked above BC on the academic side as well.
The Eagles softball squad also had seven players earn ODAC All-Academic Honors for the 2008-09 sports year.
