Softball to Tackle Virginia in Sunday Tripleheader

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Head coach Donnie Fulk and the Bridgewater Eagles softball squad will make the most of their fall play date when the squad travels to the University of Virginia to do battle with the Cavaliers on Sunday starting at high noon.

BC will play a tripleheader with the Cavaliers with games starting at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Bridgewater is fresh off a 36-11 season in 2009, which included a 13-3 record in ODAC play, as the team opens up the fall season in preparation for the 2010 regular season.

The Eagles will wrap up the fall season on October 18 when the team hosts its annual Alumni Softball Game at the Eagles Softball Field. This year's alumni game is slated for a 2:00 p.m. start.
