On day two of action at the Snowbird Tournament, the Bridgewater Eagles softball team remained hot with an 8-0 victory over SUNY-IT and an 11-0 win over Eastern Nazarene. Both games were called early due to the eight run rule in the fifth inning.

Dominant pitching owned the day for the Bridgewater Eagles (4-2) softball team, while the offense tallied 20 runs in two games as the Eagles got the 2010 Snowbird Tournament off on the right foot with an 11-0 win over Penn State-Harrisburg and a 9-0 win over King's (Pa.) In game two, senior Lindsay Lam tossed a six-inning no-hitter.

In the squad's 2010 home opener, the Bridgewater Eagles took advantage of seven Hood miscues to earn a doubleheader sweep over the visiting Blazers. Bridgewater won game one by a 5-4 score, before taking the down the Blazers in game two by a 9-1 tally in five innings.

After months of indoor practice, the Bridgewater Eagles softball team finally took to the diamond on Sunday in its season opener at Christopher Newport. Bridgewater struggled in a twinbill with the Captains, falling by a 3-0 count and a 10-4 score at Captains Park.
