Swimmers defeat Guilford, 125-78
The Bridgewater College swim team defeated Guilford College
125-78 Saturday in a dual meet at the Bridgewater pool.
Morgan Cordle and Lauren Clauge won two events each to lead the
Eagles past the Quakers.
Cordle won the 800 meter freestyle with a time of 10:52.15 and the
400 free with a time of 5:12.23. Clauge took first in the 200 free,
winning with a time of 2:23.81, and the 100 free with a time of
1:05.54.
Also winning individual events for the Eagles were Sophie Thomas in
the 50 meter freestyle, Amanda Everhart in the 200 individual
medley and Katie Schlemm in the 100 butterfly.
The 400 meter freestyle relay team of Cordle, Schlemm, Clauge and
Lauren Gladish was also victorious.
