BC swimmers pick up two wins
The Bridgewater College swim team picked up a pair of victories
in a quad-meet Thursday hosted by Hollins University.
BC defeated Greensboro College 99-88, and Hollins 138-48. The
Eagles lost to Sweet Briar College, 140-63.
Morgan Cordle was the lone individual winner as she placed first in
the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:57.13.
Sophie Thomas had a strong effort with a second place finish in the
50 freestyle and a third in 100 freestyle.
Lauren Gladish placed third in the 1000 freestyle while Katie
Schlemm placed second and Lauren Clymore took third in the 100
breaststroke.
