Swim Team Selected Fourth in ODAC Preseason Poll

SALEM, Va. - In polling conducted by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), the conference coaches selected the Bridgewater Eagles to finish fourth in the conference in the Preseason poll released by the ODAC office.
BC received 27 points in the preseason poll, placing the squad in the middle of the seven team league, eight points behind third place Sweet Briar.
Nineteen-time ODAC champion Washington and Lee was selected to earn its 20th conference crown, earning 48 points, followed by Randolph-Macon in second place with 43 points. The Generals earned all but one of the first place votes, with RMC earning the other first-place vote.
Guilford came in right behind the Eagles in fifth place, while Hollins and Emory and Henry rounded out the seven team field.
Bridgewater opens the 2009-10 season on Saturday, October 24 at the ODAC Relays hosted by Washington and Lee.
