Thomas Garners ODAC Honorable Mention Selection
SALEM, Va. - Bridgewater swimmer Sophie Thomas turned in a stellar sophomore season in the pool en route to earning an honorable mention All-ODAC selection. For Bridgewater, Thomas' honor marks the second All-Conference selection in program history.
Thomas broke three individual school marks in the sprint events, while aiding six relays in breaking school records.
A native of Westminster, Md., Thomas turned in a ninth place finish at the 2010 ODAC Championships in the 50 yard freestyle event, while also notching a 10th place finish in the 100 yard backstroke.
Thomas follows Katie Schlemm as the only Eagle to earn All-ODAC honors, following Schlemm's honorable mention selection a season ago.
Bridgewater finished the season with a fourth place showing at the ODAC Championships.
