FOREST, Va. – With the 2011 season in the books, Bridgewater College freshman swimmer Carrie Crowther became the third swimmer in school history to be named to the All-ODAC team, earning second team All-ODAC honors.
Crowther became the program's third All-ODAC choice after finishing fourth in a time of 1:04.02 in the 100 meter backstroke, eclipsing her preliminary time in the event by over half a second.
The freshman had an outstanding rookie year for the Eagles, posting multiple school records along the way.
Bridgewater wrapped up the 2010-11 season with a fourth place overall finish at the 2011 ODAC Championships at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. The Eagles closed the gap by over 100 points on third place Sweet Briar at the meet as they continue to show major improvements in just their third year of existence.
