Eagles Take Top Time in Every Event vs. Randolph

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's swimming team improved to 4-0 on the season, taking the top time in all 14 events to beat Randolph 135-65 in their first home meet of the season.

Morgan Beauregard, Emma Daw, Genevieve Young and Laurel Glover opened the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay, in 5:01.20.

Beauregard, a freshman, also won the 100 back (in 1:15.72). Emily Carr won two events- the 50 back (36.37) and 50 free (32.51).

Kelley Hilliker took the 800 free in 10:23.49, and her sister Kaitlyn Hilliker won the 100 free with a time of 1:08.73.

Olivia Heeb-Wade won the 50 breast in 39.07. Glover (200 free, 2:31.65) and Daw (100 fly, 1:11.69) also took home individual victories.

With the meet locked up and BC swimming exhibitions, the Eagles had the fastest time in the 100 breast (Jennifer Hess, 1:34.93), 400 free (Heeb-Wade, 5:07.54), 50 fly (Back, 31.98), 100 IM (Daw, 1:12.86), and 400 free relay (Young, Haley Saunders, Rachael King and Daw, 4:42.91).

The Eagles are 4-0, 4-0 ODAC and will have a tough meet next Friday at Emory & Henry College.
