Marita Mathe is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Bridgewater women's basketball team.
The Eagles went 13-13 in her first season, routing Roanoke in the opening round of the ODAC postseason. Junior Briana Moore was named a first team Academic All-American, and made the All-ODAC squad.
"Marita brings extensive basketball knowledge to our staff and will be an invaluable asset to our program," Bridgewater head coach Sarah Mathews said. "I cannot wait to see the impact she has on both current and future players."
