    The Bridgewater Eagles completed play in the final round of the Golfweek Invitational in Florida on Tuesday with senior Christina Herbert finishing in a tie for fourth place, and the team placing 14th.

    The Bridgewater College women's golf team took advantage of fall break and an invitation from Golfweek to play in a high-level tournament this week at the Sandestin Resort in Miramar Beach, Florida. Play started Sunday with the Eagles posting a team score of 347, which put them in 14th place after the first round.

    The Bridgewater women's golf team opened their 2017-18 campaign today in the Lynn Schweizer Invitational at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. The team was not able to complete their first official round of the season though, as the remnants of Hurricane Harvey stalled over central Ohio and eventually produced enough rain to make the golf course unplayable.
