LEXINGTON, Va. – A big first half for #2 Washington & Lee was the difference, as the Bridgewater College women's lacrosse team fell 16-4 to W&L on Wednesday.

The teams each scored four times in the second half, but the second-ranked hosts raced out to a 12-0 halftime lead.

Jacqueline DiFulvio and Sarah Yashinskie also tallied late in the game for Bridgewater.

Junior Kayla O'Sullivan had game-highs with two caused turnovers and four ground balls.

W&L got four goals and an assist from Hayley Soutter, and one goal and four assists from Cordelia Peters. Haley Tucker won eight draw controls.
