O'Sullivan Named to All-State Team

ARLINGTON, Va. - Bridgewater College senior Kayla O'Sullivan has earned her first All-State selection, with the release of the Virginia Sports Information Directors' (VaSID) team.

O'Sullivan, a second team All-ODAC selection for the third consecutive season, was named second team All-State as a defender.

She ranked second in the ODAC in caused turnovers (40) and draw controls (82), fourth in ground balls (48), and set a new school record with 154 career draw controls.

A team captain, O'Sullivan also had a career-high nine points on six goals and three assists.

Headlining the 2018 VaSID Women's Lacrosse College All-State honors this season were Mary Washington's Kirsten Littlefield and Shenandoah's Alyson Bittinger as the Player and Rookie of the Year respectively, while Mary Washington's Caitlin Moore has been named Coach of the Year.
