In singles play, Bridgewater's one and two players both fell in straight sets before senior Alissa Michael pushed her match at number three to a three-set dual before falling by a 6-2, 0-6, 10-7 score.

Bridgewater got its first singles win of the day when Ally McConaughy wore down Stephanie Crum at number five in a three-set showdown by a 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 10-4 tally.

Freshman Amanda Gorby earned BC's lone straight sets win of the day in the singles finale at number six with a 6-2, 6-3 victory.
