Runners Post Solid Times At Duke Meet

DURHAM, N.C. - Bridgewater took a group of its distance runners to the Duke Invitational on Friday and several turned in season-best times.

Zanny Ludtke ran the 5000 meters in 19:06.59 and teammate Samantha Hancock ran a 19:48.87. Both were personal bests this season.

In the 1500, Whitney Fitzgerald posted a time of 5:08.87 and Stephanie Breen ran her best time of the season with a time of 5:13.87.

Two BC athletes took part in the hammer at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational.

In the women's hammer, Rebecca Unruh threw 84 feet, 8 inches and Sara Bothof threw 83 feet, 9 inches.
