Women’s Track and Field Picked Fourth in Coaches Poll

FOREST, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's indoor track and field team was picked fourth in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Indoor Track and Field Coaches Poll released Friday by the conference office.

Last year at the ODAC Indoor Track Championships, the Eagles walked away with a fifth place finish and Jordan Pitchford earned ODAC Rookie of the Year accolades.

Pitchford returns this season after winning the triple jump (11.15 meters) and finishing second in the high jump (1.56 meters) at last year's championship.

Senior Morgan Keplinger also is back for the Eagles. She holds the Bridgewater indoor record in the 800-meter run. Senior Jenna Stacy finished sixth at the ODAC Championships a year ago in pole vault and returns for her final season.
