Women's Track Logs Top Marks at Liberty, Princeton

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's track & field team registered program top-10 marks in two different states on Friday evening.

Senior Katelyn Senger broke her ODAC record in the discus for the second straight week, tossing 46.04m/151'0" to place second overall at Liberty University. That is the third-longest mark in Division III this season.

Allison Combs was 15th in the discus (32.62m/107'0"), while Chloe Ferguson placed 24th (25.85m/84'10").

In the shot put, Senger was ninth (10.92m/35'10"), Sydne Moseley was 19th (9.93m/32'7"), Combs was 22nd (9.80m/32'7") and Ferguson was 28th (8.84m/29'0").

At Princeton's Sam Howell Invite, freshman Calista Ariel ran the fourth fastest 5K in program history- 18:42.30.

Maryellen Hauver was seventh in the 800 meters (2:19.66) and 26th at 1500 meters (5:00.14).

The Eagles will be back in action at Liberty tomorrow, while Amber Celen will run in the 100 and 200 meters at Princeton.
