O’Leary, Long, Grimes and Kallam Named to All-ODAC Volleyball Teams

FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) office released the All-ODAC awards on Monday morning and four Bridgewater volleyball players earned all-conference accolades.

Bridgewater senior libero Casey O'Leary was named to the All-ODAC second team. O'Leary finished the regular season atop the ODAC with 541 digs and made it into the Bridgewater record book for most digs in a season. She also tops the Bridgewater record books by almost 400 digs for career digs with 1,816.

Outside hitter Katie Long totaled 330 kills on the season and was named to the All-ODAC second team. Long's season-high was against Averett with 24 kills. The Floyd, Va. native had 10 or more kills in 19 matches this season. Long ranked seventh in the ODAC for total number of kills.

Sophomore Megann Grimes was named to the All-ODAC third team after totaling 277 kills on the season. She had 10 or more kills in 10 matches and finished the season with 78 total blocks. The middle hitter was named to the All-Tournament team on Saturday after her seven-kill tally during the quarterfinals and eight kills during the semifinal round of the ODAC tournament.

Setter Lindsay Kallam was also named to the All-ODAC third team. Kallam recorded 772 assists and 7.80 assists per set and finished ranked third on the ODAC leaderboard in assists per set. The Virginia Beach, Va. native also completed this season with 199 digs and 32 total blocks.

The Eagles finished the season with an overall record of 18-15 and earned the program's first ODAC semifinal birth since 2009.
