Bridgewater Finishes 20th at South/Southeast Region Women's Cross Country Meet
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Bridgewater College women's cross country team placed 20th out of 27 teams at Saturday's South-Southeast Region Meet hosted by Guilford College.
The Eagles first four finishers in Saturday's meet were freshmen, led by Whitney Fitzgerald in 74th place in a field of 189. Fitzgerald finished the 6K course with a time of 26:31.
Rounding out the Bridgewater scoring effort were Samantha Hancock (118, 27:49), Lauren Heishman (122, 28:05), Molly Smith (123, 28:11) and Katie Notarangelo (152, 29:47).
