BC Women Finish 4th at Maroon Cross Country Invitational
ROANOKE, Va. - Bridgewater College placed fourth out of seven teams Saturday at Roanoke College's Maroon Invitational.
Bridgewater placed two runners in the Top 10 and a team score of 110. Washington and Lee won the team title with Lynchburg College second and Roanoke College third.
Samantha Hancock paced the Eagles with a sixth-place finish in the field of 54 runners with a time of 25:39.22. Whitney Fitzgerald also cracked the Top 10 with a time of 26:02.78 to place 10th.
Also scoring for BC were Katie Notarangelo in 27th place, Lauren Heishman in 29th and Angela Casanave in 44th place overall.
