Women's Cross Country Places 19th At Gettysburg
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Bridgewater College women's cross country team finished 19th out of 28 teams Saturday at the Gettysburg Invitational.
Freshman runner Molly Smith paced the Eagles with a solid finish in 38th place in a field of 289 runners. Smith ran the 6K course in a time of 25:47.15.
Classmate Whitney Fitzgerald placed 83rd with a time of 26:32.30. Samantha Hancock, another first-year runner crossed the line in 119th place with a time of 27:18.66.
Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles were freshman Lauren Heishman in 179th place with a time of 28:33.30 and sophomore Katie Notarangelo in 219th place with a time of 30:05.63.
