Eagles Rank Seventh In South/Southeast Region Rankings

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released the NCAA DIII Cross Country regional rankings Tuesday. The Bridgewater College women's cross country team is ranked in the seventh place position in the South/Southeast Region.

The women placed fourth at the EMU Royals Invitational on August 31 in Harrisonburg, Va. Four Eagles finished in the top 25 of the meet.

Washington and Lee sneaks right in front of the Eagles in the sixth place position.

The women's cross country team returns to action on September 21 for the Doc Jopson Invitational. Peak View Elementary School is the location of competition and the meet starts at 5 p.m. in Harrisonburg, Va.
