Taylor Frombaugh has been named the new women's lacrosse assistant coach at Bridgewater College.
Frombaugh spent the past two seasons as an assistant at Elizabethtown College, with the Blue Jays making a Landmark Conference playoff appearance in 2017 after an 11-5 overall record.
She coached a total of eight All-Landmark selections at Elizabethtown, including 2018 Player of the Year and All-Region selection Katie Thompson.
Frombaugh was a four-year letterwinner at Division II Millersville University, where she was named team captain as a senior.
She was a member of the Millersville Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.), and the Student-Athlete Training Club Committee.
"We are so excited to welcome Taylor Frombaugh to our Bridgewater lacrosse family," said head coach Rachael Bragg. "Her knowledge of the sport, passion for coaching, and her drive to help develop these student athletes made her the best candidate for the position. She embodies the core values of our program and I look forward to working with her to continue to take our program to the next level."
Frombaugh has also coached with Lanco Elite Lacrosse Club in Lancaster, Pa., and at Cedar Crest High School in Lebanon, Pa.
She graduated from Millersville in 2015 with a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in athletic coaching. She also earned a bachelor's in athletic training through a dual-degree program with West Chester University.
