Nininger Hall of Fame

The beautiful Nininger Hall of Fame hallway was constructed as part of the 2014 $9 million Nininger renovation project.

A timeline includes photos and facts commemorating some of the biggest moments in the history of the Bridgewater athletic department, which has been competing intercollegiately since 1898.

At the beginning of the hallway (through the doors from the Campus Mall overlooking Jopson Field) is a touch-screen kiosk containing bios and photos for every Bridgewater Hall of Fame inductee, along with rosters, schedules, coaching bios, video highlights and key history of all the Eagles' varsity teams. Plaques of the most recent Hall of Fame class are also displayed here.

The Hall of Fame hallway leads to the new Wampler President's Suite, which is used for campus functions and as a president's reception area during home football games.

The Bridgewater College Athletic Hall of Fame was established to honor those who, by outstanding achievement in athletics at Bridgewater College and service thereafter, have made lasting contributions in the community, government, church and/or workplace. Members of the Bridgewater College Athletic Hall of Fame are selected annually by the Selection Committee from nominations submitted by staff, alumni, and friends of the College.
