BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater women's swimming team fell to Roanoke 175.5-86.5 on Saturday.
Bridgewater broke three different program records during the dual meet. First in the 200m medley that opened the event
Grace Warren,
Isabelle Bauer,
Melia Ross and
Katelyn Wiglesworth teamed up for a second place finish with a time of 2:07.31 to set a Bridgewater best.
Bauer put her name in the record book again in the 100m breaststroke winning the event by nearly a second to finish with a time of 1:18.41.
The third record was broken in the final women's event of the meet, the 200m freestyle relay. Warren and Wiglesworth put their names in the record book again teaming up with
Abby Martin and
Katie Yoder for a second place finish with a time of 1:54.99.
Wiglesworth added a win to her day in the 100m freestyle beating out Lily Mullens of Roanoke by nine-tenths of a second touching the wall with a time of 1:01.98.
Bridgewater will be back in action on Oct. 28 on the road against Randolph. Action is set to start at 5:30 p.m.
