YORK, Pa. – The Bridgewater College men's swimming team saw five wins in day two of the Spartan Splash Invitational hosted by York College.
The Eagles' winning started in the 200-yard medley relay where
Jose Urdaneta,
Luke Wintersgill,
Ben Beaudoin and
Connor Cayer finished with a combined time of 1:35.29.
The 400-yard IM saw
Tommy Ronayne finish first clocking a 4:05.44 while
Ean Helmlinger took second (4:11.85).
Andrea Cibrario set a new program best in the 100-yard butterfly being timed with a 50.04. Cibrario also took the top spot in the 100-yard backstroke (52.31).
Wintersgill won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 57.60.
BC holds a slight lead of 650.5 compared to York College's 626. Hood College rounds out the podium with 393.5 points.
Bridgewater will kick off the final day tomorrow with the preliminaries starting at 9 a.m and will end with the finals with a 2 p.m start.
