HANNOVER, N.H. – The Bridgewater College equestrian team wrapped up its fall season with a loss against No. 2 ranked Dartmouth College 5-2 on Sunday.
The Eagles picked up two points in the fences portion with
Kelsey Quinn and
Delaney Broderick beating out their opponents in the event. Quinn edged out her opponent 79-78, while Broderick won 81-80 scoring the highest points in the event for the team.
Quinn tied her opponent at 89 in the flat event, but the Big Green swept the rest of BC's riders to win the competition.
Dartmouth finished with 650.0 points while Bridgewater totaled 619.0.
The Eagles will compete again in the new year at Sweet Briar on Saturday, Feb. 3 starting at 10 a.m.
