LEXINGTON, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's swim team opened its season at the ODAC Relays Saturday afternoon.
In the 150 yd backstroke
Zachary Erb,
Jose Urdaneta, and
Andrea Cibrario finished in first with a time of 1:11.72 a program best.
Travis McCauley,
Thomas Rose,
Connor Cayer, and Cibrario placed first in the 200 yd freestyle with a time of 1:26.67 for another program best.
Bridgewater saw Erb,
Tommy Ronayne, and Cibrario claim a second place finish in the 100 yd individual medley. The trio finished their relay with a combined 2:40.80 for another program best.
The 200 yd medley saw Erb,
Luke Wintersgill, Cibrario, and Cayer claiming the second spot with a combined 1:36.31 beating the previous program record.
The Eagles placed third out of eight teams in the meet and will return to action next weekend, Oct. 7, traveling to Lynchburg.
