LEXINGTON, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's swimming team took home several podium placements Friday night to defeat Southern Virginia 128.5-75.5.
The team of
Andrea Cibrario,
Luke Wintersgill,
Ben Beaudoin and
Connor Cayer logged the first points of the night for the Eagles placing first in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:35.96.
Zachary Erb finished with a first-place time of 4:21.61 in the 400-yard IM while teammate
Ean Helmlinger took second being clocked at 4:26.74 in the event.
Cibrario saw first in the 200-yard free earning a time of 1:49.87.
Thomas Rose took home third place in the event stopping the clock at the 1:56.47 mark.
Tommy Ronayne swam his way to the top spot in the 200-yard fly timing a 2:06.58 finish.
Kris Schultz picked up another victory in the 200-yard IM finishing with a time of 2:02.92.
Cibrario gained one more individual win in the 200-yard back touching the wall at the 2:03.96 mark while
Jose Urdaneta was just three seconds off for a second-place time of 2:06.65.
For the final individual event, Wintersgill was timed with a 2:15.94 finish to gain the top spot in the 200-yard breast edging out Schultz by one second (2:16.91).
Bridgewater wrapped up the night with

Nate Herrman,
Eddie Klinko and Urdaneta taking first in the 200-yard free relay event with a time of 1:26.55.
The Eagles end the regular season next Saturday, Jan. 27, when the team squares off with Randolph-Macon in Ashland for a 1 p.m. meet.
