SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The Bridgewater College equestrian team was overcome by No. 5 Sewanee 6-2 on Saturday morning.

Delaney Broderick was able to pick up a point in the fences portion after taking home a score of 82 while riding Chip.The Eagles were unable to captitalize on anymore points in the fences with Sewanee capturing the final three points.

Kelsey Quinn, riding Frankie, earned a point in the flat arena after outscoring her opponent 76-75. BC could not muster anymore points in this segment with the Tigers taking the last three points of the competition for a final of 6-2.

Sewanee grabbed the two Most Outstanding Performances of the match with Emma Sameth and Jenna McAmis taking away the honor.

Bridgewater gets several weeks of rest before returning to competition on March 21 for the ODAC Head-to-Head Tournament in Sweet Briar, Va.
