SWEET BRIAR, Va. – The Bridgewater College equestrian team fell to single discipline's No.1 Sweet Briar 7-3 Friday afternoon.

Madeleine Granger each received a point for the Eagles in the fences portion of the competition. Quinn, riding Chico, edged out her opponent with a score of 84-83 and Granger won by a score of 84-70 on horse Jetson.
Proceeding to the flat portion, Quinn secured a point for BC after winning the event 87-75 on Trey. The Vixens pulled out four more points in the flat to take the victory.
Quinn picked up Most Outstanding Performer for the second time this season in the flat, while Granger earned the laurel for the first time this season in the fences.
Bridgewater will compete against Charleston next Saturday, Feb. 10, in a neutral site matchup taking place in Rustburg, Va.
