GREENSBORO N.C. – The Bridgewater College men's swimming team kicked off the first day of the ODAC Championships Wednesday evening.

The sole event for the day was the 800 yard freestyle relay in which the men team was able to capture bronze with a time of 6:56.24.

Kris Schultz, Ean Helmlinger, Tommy Ronayne and Zachary Erb teamed up together to set a new program record in the event.

The Eagles jump right back in the pool tomorrow at 10 a.m. for day two of the ODAC Championships.
